BCESL – 101 Identifying the Root Cause of Diseases
Instructor: Iva Lloyd, N.D.
Root causes of disease are multi-factorial and include misalignment to one’s core beliefs, lifestyle, and environment, social and external factors. This seminar addresses how to link the characteristics and patterns of the causal factors to a patient’s signs and symptoms in order to assist practitioners in identifying the root causes of disease.

- Detailed discussion of the interrelationship of the psychological, functional and structural aspects of the body.
- A look at the energetic patterns (Ayurvedic 5 elements; Internal and External; Yin Yang and Excess and Deficiency) to describe how symptoms mirror the root cause.
- Review of the root causes of symptoms and diseases – recognizing that a root cause is never another symptom. Root causes include alignment with one’s core beliefs, lifestyle, social, environment, external factors and treatments.
